General Information

Christchurch Bicycle Club offer a range of led rides for a variety of abilities and fitness. We always welcome new members, and if you are new to cycling we are happy to advise on the best rides to come on and how to get started. Contact our rides co-ordinator (rides@christchurchbicycleclub.org) for advice.

Guest Riders

If you are a non-member, trying our rides for the first time, please contact the ride leader before you join your rides (3 permitted) as a guest.  You will be required to sign in with the ride leader.

You will be required to hand in a Guest Rider form available HERE to the leader. Failure to complete and hand in the form means you are not eligible to join the ride. The form can also be completed online HERE

Please note that as a guest rider we strongly suggest that you choose a ride where you are confident you can maintain the average pace for the distance. It is easy to return for another ride if you find you can do a faster longer ride. Do not overestimate your capability.

Also, you should ensure your bike is road worthy and that you are carrying at least one spare inner tube and a working bicycle pump.

E-Bikes

Owners of electric bikes are welcome to join the club and join rides,  provided  they have spoken to the ride leader beforehand and their suitability for the ride has been accepted by the leader.  At no time should the E-bike rider dictate the speed of the ride.
