Nepal Trek Slide Presentation

Nepal Trek Slide Presentation

Last November two members of our club, Duncan Melling and David Orme (with their sons), spent three weeks trekking in a remote part of Nepal towards the border with Tibet, which included crossing the Larke Pass at 5100m. By popular demand, they will be talking about their trek, accompanied with slides showing the stunning scenery, wonderful Nepalese, and illustrating the various experiences they had. Entrance is free to all CBC members (and a friend/spouse) and there will be a collection in aid of the ‘Different Strokes’ charity – for those who don’t already know the connection between the Nepal trek and this, all will be revealed on the evening (but, as a hint, we are expecting an appearance by Kathy Melling)!

7:30 for 8:00pm prompt start on Friday 10th November at
East Christchurch Sports and Social Club (ECSSC)
Grange Rd (just off the dual-carriageway from Highcliffe to the Sainsbury’s roundabout)
BH23 4JD

Bar available for drinks or tea/coffee

Thanks

  1. Do you want confirmation of numbers or just turn up? I am hoping that even if I am working I should just about make it after my shift.

  2. Just turn up – would be great if you could make it 🙂

  3. Sorry we can’t make it; we’re committed to another meeting at that date/time, but we’ll send a donation.
